Mangaluru, Sep 28, 2018: A student   of first year D. Pharm course  at an engineering college on the outskirts of the city has been reported missing from the college hostel. A complaint has been lodged in this connection in the Mangaluru Rural police station.


missingThe missing student is  Rahul Raghav (23) of Goa origin. He had joined the college just a month ago and is reported missing since September 18.

The CCTV images of that day showed him walking out of the college entrance. The hostel warden  lodged a missing complaint on September 27.

The police had tried to contact his mobile phone the same day and on checking the  network found it to be in Maharashtra. However, the mobile was later found switched off. The suspicion is that he might have gone to Maharashtra.

Investigations are underway.
