Mangaluru: Pedestrian dies in hit and run case near Nandigudda Circle

Mangaluru, June 12, 2015: A 59 year old man who was critically injured in a road mishap near Nandigudda Circle on June 10, Wednesday, has breathed his last on Thursday.
The deceased is John Monteiro, a resident of St Joseph Nagar.
Monteiro who worked as an attender at Milagres Pre-University College was on way home at around 9.30 after purchasing some essentials when a speeding bike knocked him down.
He sustained serious head injuries in the mishap. The bike rider however fled the scene of the mishap.
Monteiro has left behind his wife, son and daughter. Traffic police (East) have registered a case.
