Mangaluru Nov 2, 2016: Mangaluru Mayor Harinath inaugurated vigilance awareness week at MCC premises on Wednesday November 2. The initiative was taken by Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited (MRPL) as per the guidance of central vigilance commission.
Speaking on the occasion Harinath said that, people in the country are aware about the corruption and everyone needs to be vigilant to curb the menace of corruption. Low level and higher officials it’s found everywhere, due to this development has no scope and asked people to come together and pledge for good work to reduce corruption.
Later Mayor Harinath and other officials of MCC took oath against corruption. The mayor was given the e-certificate of registration for the e-pledge on the occasion. He later handed it over it to the Director of MRPL H Kumar.
Chief Vigilance officer Ravindranath, MCC Commissioner Nazeer, Joint Commissioner Gokuldas Nayak and others were present.
