Mangaluru, April 21, 2019 : A man died when his bike met with an accident, hit by a truck on national highway 66, near Kallapu on Sunday April 21.
The victim is identified as Jerome D’Souza aged 68. He is a resident of Mitranagar, Kumpala.
He was on his way from Jeppu to Kumpala when a truck hit his bike from the back near Kallapu. He was thrown off in the impact and fell on the road. The truck run over him killing him on the spot. The truck was going over speed when the tragic incident took place, said an eye witness.
Ullal The police have registered a case and investigation on.
