Mangaluru, Sep 29, 2015: MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, strongly reiterated Sept 28, that the State government should stop the Yettinahole project immediately.
He told public on the sidelines of a function at Krishi Vigyan Kendra that as per his knowledge, works were going on at three places in Sakleshpur taluk in Hassan district.
He added that coming for talks with local affected people after commencing the work was like a fire fighting exercise after everything was burnt down. The MP said that the government should hold talks involving technical experts, both from the government side and from the side of the activists at Bengaluru, only after stopping the work. Its outcome could be discussed in Mangaluru. First the works need to be suspended.
Its a Golden Project to the polticans, thuogh it has drawback they are not putting an end to it. YETTINAHOLE for the politicians "KAASINAMALE".
We can trust the words of our MP because he is from our District. He too will face the problem in fiture for the shortage of water. So he is taking a stand and rising the voice against YETTINAHOLE.
The politicians are like Chameleons- keep on changing the color(words). It is only the Public who is truly against This Project .
