Mangaluru: Indian Mujahideen terror suspect brought to city court, Today

Mangaluru  June 27, 2016: Two out of the four suspected  Indian Mujahideen  terrorist in connection with Mukkachery explosive accumulation case of  2008, were produced in third JMFC court in Mangaluru on June 27, Monday.

Four persons namely Mohammed Ali from Mukkachery Ullal, Javed Ali,  Naushad (25) from Subhash Nagar Pandeshwar in city, Ahmed Bava (33) from Haleyangadi were detained by the police and security forces on October 3, 2008. The police had seized five grenades and improvised pipe bombs along with 12 mobile handsets, SIM cards and jihadist material at Subhash Nagar in Pandeshwar.


Naushad (33) is one of the suspect who was brought by Maharastra Anti Terrorist Squad (ATS) to city and was escorted by the local police to the court. 

The court has scheduled the next hearings of the case on July 21, 22 and 23. The sources say that ATS team along with the suspect has retuned back to Maharashtra by noon train.
