Mangaluru: Glass piece found in Kissan jam bottle!

Mangaluru, Aug 19, 2015: In a shocking case, a glass piece has been found in a Kissan mixed fruit jam bottle by a consumer in the city.

The consumer Vinaya  of Nagori says she had purchased the jam of 700 gram  of mixed fruit flavour from the Spar Hyper Market in  July. She says the glass piece as big as a match box was found at the bottom of the jar when her family had almost emptied the jam in a month’s time.

Vinaya has already contacted the customer care of Hindustan Unilever which in turn has contacted her through its represenative who has asked to keep the jar as well as the glass piece intact   so that it would help in investigating the matter.
