Mangaluru: Gang attack on duo at Kallapu near Ullal

Mangaluru, Aug 19, 2015: Tension prevailed at Kallapu area near Ullal on August 18, Tuesday night after two a group of assailants attacked two men.

 

Kallapu attack.


Those attacked were Kavith Poojary from Ullalbail and Pritesh (23) from Tokkottu Krishnanagar. Sources reveal that the duo who were travelling in a Ritz car   had entered into an altercation with the driver of a fish tempo over the issue of overtaking.


It is said, by the time their car reached Kallapu a group of nearly 100 persons were waiting for them. Sources said ten persons from among the group moved ahead and assaulted the duo. The Ullal Police who rushed to the spot, brought the situation under control and admitted the two injured to hospital.
