Mangaluru, Apr 02, 2017: The Graduation Day of Fr Muller Medical College and Allied Health Sciences and Fr. Muller College of Speech and Hearing was held at the Fr Muller Convention Centre here on April 1, Saturday.
As many as 270 students received their degrees on the occasion. Of them 270 got graduation degrees, 25 received MBBS degrees. Among others who received their degrees, 34 were from physiotherapy steam, 19 from BSc medical imaging technology, 17 from BSc Medical Laboratory Technology and three from Radio Therapy Technology stream. FMCI President’s Gold Medal for the best outgoing MBBS graduate for the year 2016 was bagged by Dr. Sahana P.
Dr Gopalkrishna Prabhu, Director of Manipal Institute of Technology who addressed the gathering said hard works would definitely yield success, though the same may be delayed. He was also all praise for the yeoman contributions rendered by Fr Muller institution to the cause of medical education and healthcare facilities.
Fr Aloysius Paul D’Souza, Bishop of Mangaluru was present as a chief guest. Fr Richard Coelho, in-charge Director of FMCI and Dr J P Alva, Dean of Fr Muller Medical College were present among others.
