Mangaluru, Oct 16, 2015: Inaugurating the Job Fair office in DC Office in City on Friday, Oct 16, minister for forest, environment, ecology and DK district in-charge minister B Ramanath Rai said " Two day Job Fair to provide jobs to thousands of graduate, engineering, vocational courses and postgraduate candidates from state will be held on November 19th and 20th at Canara Engineering College, Benjanapadavu.

It is organized by D K district administration and department of ecology and environment association. He said, as many as 300 multi-national companies are expected to participate and recruit thousands of students. The job fair will cover candidates who have completed their graduation, engineering or any other vocational courses. An employability enhancement centre will be opened well in advance before the event to facilitate and guide student to seek right job. There will be no registration charges.

Rai said job mela is a platform that brings together various companies, corporate houses, industries and aspirants from the different areas. It aims at building a strong bridge between the current employment opportunities offered by a fast growing economy and the job aspirants. Recruiters from different industries spread across sectors like manufacturing/automobile, IT/ITES/EC, construction, BFSI, hospitality, education/NGO, HR consultants, sales/retail, Health Care, Pharma/ Para-medical have been invited.

A B Ibrahim, Deputy Commissioner said vehicle have been arranged from city to the mela location for all candidates. A counselling programme will be held for all prospective candidates a week before in all taluk and dates for this will be announced shortly.
