Mangaluru, September 29, 2019: The Mangaluru Dasara celebration  of the Shree Gokarnanatha Temple at Kudroli  was inaugurated by City Police Commissioner Dr P S Harsha  on September 29, Sunday.

The idol of Goddess Sharada and Navadurgas  were installed  at the grand ceremony held in the presence of  the Temple Management Committee President H S Sairam,  other office bearers and  a large number of devotees.

 

The Pratishta Huli Vesha team which danced  in front of the Goddess during the installation and earlier while the idol was brought to the  tastefully decorated emple hall, added  more colour to the celebrations.

The Dasara festivities at the Temple will conclude on October 8 with a grand Shobhayatra.

Temple Committee Vice President  Raghavendra Kuloor,  Temple Development Committee Co-President Urmila Ramesh Kumar,  Treasurer  Padmaraj R and others were present.
