Mangaluru, Mar 25, 2019: Nalin Kumar Kateel, the two time MP from Dakshina Kannada constituency has on March 25, Monday filed his nomination for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections as a BJP candidate for the third time in a row.
Prior to the filing of his nomination, Nalin’s Election Office was inaugurated at Bunts Hostel. Speaking on the occasion, Nalin claimed that he has done his best during his past ten years in office. He also stated that a sum of Rs 16,520 crore was released to the district during the five year term of Prime Minister Narendra Modi compared to the Rs 3,500 crore released during the erstwhile UPA rule under Manmohan Singh. He also exuded confidence of the support from voters.
Party Legislators Sunil Kumar, Sanjeeva Matandoor, Rajesh Naik, Vedavyas Kamath, Bharath Shetty and others were present on the occasion.
