Mangaluru, April 29, 2015 :The Mangaluru South police report says  Mohammed Jaid of Attavar entered the house when his 13-year-old son was watching television,  dragged his son to a room and assaulted him. Jaid allegedly banged his son’s head on the wall and threatened to kill him on April 26.


ssault on son by father allegedPolice were called by neighbours after they heard  screams. Police who rescued the boy and registered a complaint filed by Jaid’s wife against her husband.


Jaid and his wife were living separately. The police said the boy was under the care of his mother.


The police have registered a case of assault and illegal confinement.
