Mangaluru: 2 bikers stab auto driver after a bitter quarrel

Mangaluru, Sep 14, 2015 : In a shocking case, an autorickshaw driver was stabbed by two persons near the Roopavani theatre in the city on September 13, Sunday afternoon.
The injured driver Gopalakrishna (48) from Panjimogaru has been hospitalised. It has been gathered that Gopalakrishna had signalled two bike riders who were passing through a no-entry area saying they were on the wrong way, However, the bike riders who seemed angry, stopped their vehicles and entered into an altercation with the driver and in a fit of rage even stabbed him. They then fled the place by abandoning their vehicle for fear of getting caught.
The bike has been seized by the police. The identity of the accused is not known.
