Mangalore University to hold conference for Guest lecturers on Jan 5

Mangalore, Jan 2, 2013: A large number of guest lecturers will participate in the conference organized by Mangalore University to be held at the Karnataka State Government Employees’ Association Auditorium on January 5.
Speaking at the press meet held at Press Club on Jan 2, Thursday, Guest Lecturer Union president Nagaraj said that Minister of Health and Family Welfare, U T Khader will inaugurate the conference, chaired by Pradeep Kumar Kalkura, Deputy Chairman of Dakshina Kannada Sahitya Parishad.
He also said that on the course of conference, the Guest Lecturers will put forth various demands to be fulfilled in front of Government.
The union will also stage a state wide strike from Jan 27, demanding job security and other facilities.
Union office bearers Madhava K B, Chandrashekar, Keshav KS and Nagesh were present.
