Mangalore, May 22, 2013: Prof. Hilda Rayappan, Director of Prajna Counseling Centre, Dr Olinda Pereira and  Dr Honey Cabral, Principal of Karnataka Theological College,  were among the 36 achievers who were conferred  Awards during the 2013 Talent Milad Award ceremony held at Town Hall on May 21, Tuesday  under the aegis f the Talent Research Foundation. Rajendra Kumar, SCDCC Bank Chairman, inaugurated the ceremony.

Ashraf G Bava, Vice President of Talent Research Foundation, presided over the function.

Abubakkar Siddique Montugoli,Chief  Secretary of  SSF, Abdul Aziz Dharimi, President of Dharimis Association  were the chief guests.

Anwar Sadath, President of Creative Foundation, Abdur Rauf Puttige, Founder President  of Talent Research Foundation, Gopal Suvarna, President of Yuva Vahini Central Committee, Dr Honey Cabral, Akbar Ali and  Sulaiman Belvai were on the dais.

A book entitled “Noorondu Seve” authored by Mohammad Rafiq was released by State Health Minister UT Khader.

The winners of the Talent Milad Awards 2013 are: Kalambadi Ustad Memorial Lifetime Achievement Award – Haji VK Abdul Khader, Karunakar K Ucchil and Dr Olinda Pereira.
Manjanadi Ustad Memorial Social Service Award – Abdul Rafiq Ullal, Jayanand, Professor Hilda Rayappan

Crescent Ameer Hussain Memorial Best Journalist Award- K Abdul Hameed Puttur, Prakash Manjeshwar, Florine Roche, U T Fareed Memorial Goodwill Award – Abdul Khader Haji Amchinadka, Dinesh Nayak, Dr Honey Cabral, Ashraf M S Memorial Social Awareness Award – Anwar M S, Sridar Gowda Kokkada, Shirthady William Pinto, Khairkhan Ahmed Haji Memorial Talent Special Award – Swaliha Altaf, Ismail Kolpe, Kumari Sudaratna KS.


Sayed Mohammed Younus Memorial best Environmental Activist Award- Moulana Abdul Razak Darmi, Dinesh Nayak M, Daniel Monteiro, B Fathima HBT Memorial Self-reliance Award – Raziya, Padmavathi, Benny Gonsalves, Aasiya CH Memorial Chaitanya Award – Dr Mahazabin S Madakar, Harinakshi Kulal, Kumari Sunitha Lobo.
