Mangalore, June 16, 2013: Swarun Raj the young CEO of PVS group who met with a tragic demise in a motorcycle accident last week was mourned at a condolence meet held at Sanghaniketan this evening.

 

A large number of his friends, relatives, associates, colleagues and well wishers assembled to pay rich floral and verbal tributes to the talented young man who life was cut short when his high speed motorbike collided with a car near Bejai church.

Speaking on the occasion RSS leader Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat said the demise of Swarun Raj is a big loss to society has he had grown up with an excellent understanding of modern as well as traditional way of life. He had great dreams of coming with several magnificent projects under his concept of Vision Mangalore and he was enthusiastic to dedicate his entire life for realizing his dream. Society needs more young men like him who can think independently and come up with innovative ideas to face the challenges facing the country, he said.

Samrath Kumar of Citizen’s Council who spoke on the occasion said Swarup was a very popular person and he had the ability to think calmly even in the most challenging situations. His absence is akin to losing a soldier in our midst, he said.

MLC Capt. Ganesh Karnik recalled how Swarup had absorbed Swami Vivekananda’s ideals. He will continue to live in our hearts, he said.

Chnadrashekar Shetty of Sanatana Natyalaya, KK Upadyaya, Raviraj of PVS Group, Balakrishna Murthy of Samskara Bharathi, Dr. Asha Jyothi Rai, Keshav Dharani, dance teacher Chandrashekar Navada, Jithendra Kottary, Suhas Gopinath, Nithesh and others also spoke on the occasion.
