Mangalore: Kannada movie ‘Chella Pilli’ released at Jyothi Theatre

Mangalore, July 5, 2013: Kannada movie ‘Chella Pilli’ was released across the state with the formal inauguration at Jyothi Theatre on July 5, Friday.

MP Nalin Kumar Kateel lighted the traditional lamp to announce the formal release of the film produced under the banner Shinecity Productions.Well-known Kannada and Tulu actors including Vijaya Raghavendra, Aishwarya Nag, M S Umesh, Shobharaj, Naveen D Padil, Aravind Bolar, Bhojaraj Vamanjoor, Shivamanju and Santosh Shetty also joined Nalin in lighting the lamp.

Speaking on the occasion, Nalin appreciated the hard works put in by Mangalorean director and Tulu theatre artiste Saikrishna in bringing out this film by casting many local talents. He urged the people of Tulunad to watch the comedy Kannada movie ‘Chella Pilli’ and be a part of its success. He also wished that the film would run successfully for over 100 days.

Film producer Sudesh Bhandary, Sukesh Bhandary, JD(S) leader Sadananda Suvarna, Naveen D Padil, and others were present.
