Mangalore : Johny Lever enthrals gathering at ‘Rangda Parba’

Mangalore, Mar 10, 2014 : Bollywood  comedy king  Johny Lever enthralled the  gathering  during the audio release of the Tulu movie  ‘Rang’ at a glittering ‘ Rangda Parba’ held at Nehru Maidan on March 9, Sunday evening.

 

Johny Lever released the music album of the movie along with  Ramanatha Rai, DK District in-charge Minister,  Moidin Bava, MLA of Mangalore North and AJ Shetty, entrepreneur. Johny Lever has donned the grease paint for a Tulu movie  for the first time and ‘Rang’ has a song featuring him.

Johny Lever earlier made a dramatic entry into the  stage, thanks to eminent magician Kudroli Ganesh who made him appear from thin air. There was a thunderous applause from the audience  when Johny Lever in his usual style  spoke in Tulu and said he was happy to enact a role in a Tulu movie and  added  people of Tulunad considered him as their own. His comedy  show left the audience in splits.

  New Ocean Kids Troupe presented  mesmerizing dance performances.  The trailer and songs  of the movie ‘Rang’ were also presented. The lead pair of Rang  Arjun Kapikad and Deekshitha Acharya danced to the title song of the movie.

RJ Arpith, VJ Vineeth, and VJ Rahul compered the event.
 The movie is  produced by Devadas Pandeshwar and Pramila D Pandeshwar and directed by Vismaya Vinayak and Suhan. Music is by V Manohar. The film is brought out under the banner Kateeleshwari Combines.
