Mandd Sobhann’s Konkani movie “Osmitay” to celebrate 100 days of screening on Dec 23

Mangaluru, Dec 20, 2023: Mandd Sobhann, the premier Konkani cultural organization of the region, has organized a programme at Bharat Cinema at Bharath Mall in the city on December 23 at 4 pm to celebrate the completion of 100 days of screening of its Konkani movie “Osmitay”, This was informed by Mandd Sobhann Gurkar and story writer of the movie Eric Ozario at a press meet in the city on December 20, Wednesday. He said Osmitay has set a record of completing 100 days of show in the Konkani film industry.

 

 

The function will be graced by Albert W D’Souza, Chairman of Aldell Education Trust. He will honour the cast and crew of the movie.

The  movie Osmitay which hit the silver screens on September 15 this year, is being screed at various places including Mangaluru, Udupi, Mysuru, Mumbai, Uttara Kannada  and also abroad in USA, Canada, Germany, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, England and Ireland.

The movie has also participated in the South Asian Film Festival at Washington DC.

The screenplay and dialogue of the movie is by Joel Pereira while Vilas Ratnaker Kshatriya is the director.

The film’s cast includes Denis Monteiro, Nellu Permannur, Ashwin D’Costa. Wencita Dias, Prince Jacob, Naveen Lobo and others.

Actors Wencita Dias and Ashwin D’Costa, Secretary of Mandd Sobhann Kishore Fernandes and others were present.
