Man held in Kasargod with Rs 13 lakh demonetized notes

Kasaragod, Dec 7, 2016: Reports say that Excise officials arrested a man and seized Rs 13 lakh cash in his possession; the money was said to be in demonetized notes.

cash Dhanraj (40) from Maharashtra was arrested.

The officials found that the money was being transported by a bus plying towards Kannur. The cash was found during a check at Manjeshwar. Dhanraj told the police that he was involved in gold business and that he was taking the money from Mumbai to Kannur.

He was handed over to the Manjeshwar police for further investigation.

As the days are reaching closer to Dec 30 people are at a panic to change the demonetsed currencies .But instead of doing so and getting caught have a proper reason and get it replaced at bank
