Man arrested for allegedly raping minor girl in Malpe

Udupi, May 24, 2017 : A 30-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly raping minor girl at Kodi Bengre in Malpe on May 23, Tuesday.
The accused arrested is identified as Yadav(30) a fisherman, resident of Kodi Bengre in Malpe.
Sources said that the the girl was playing nearby Yadav’s house. He took the girl into his house and sexually assaulted her. When her parents returned home, she informed them about the incident and they filed a police complaint in Malpe police station, following which the man was arrested . He has been booked under Protection of Children from Sexual Offences(POSCO) Act.
Investigations are underway.
