Mangaluru, Sep 23, 2017:  A woman from Maharashtra has been arrested by the Bunder Police on the charges of selling fake power banks. The arrested woman  has been identified as Parvathi Bai (50).

fake power ban..

Incidentally, the power bank which was sold by the woman looks similar to the power bank found with a Dubai bound passenger at the Mangaluru International Airport earlier this week. The power bank was found in possession of Mohammad Mansoor of Padil and had  resulted in a bomb scare. He was supposed to leave for Dubai that day.

Sources said such fake power banks were manufactured in Maharashtra. Police are investigating to find if there was an organised racket involved in selling fake power banks.
