Mangaluru, Jan 27, 2020: MLC Ivan D’Souza who led a fact finding team of the DK District Congress to inspect the works of the Pumpwell flyover, has said that the local MP cannot take credit for the completion of the flyover and added that it was because of the district administration that the flyover works are complete at least to the extent that the road is motorable.
Speaking to reporters, Ivan said MP Nalin Kumar Kateel had given a number of deadlines for the completion of the flyover but had failed. He had given the latest deadline for January 1 and that too was a failure. The MP had even expressed his helplessness saying no one paid heed," he said.
"Later, the district administration took steps to get the works completed and now the works have progressed to the extent that vehicles could ply," Ivan said and thanked the district administration for the same.
The Congress fact-finding delegation included DCC Chief Harish Kumar, TP Chief Mohammad Monu, Corporators Praveen Alva, Naveen D’Souza and others.

When you people have to troll Nalin, you have all rights to blame Kateel but when things are completed you cannot give him credits. Where was the district administration all these 10 yrs. Yes, I do agree, district administration took steps to complete the work. As the current district administration is in the hands of BJP. |
