MLA J R Lobo informs Mangalore-Kuwait flight could be resumed soon

Mangalore, Aug 20, 2014:  The Mangalore-Kuwait flight service is likely to resume operations in October 2014, MLA J R Lobo stated.

It may be recalled, delegation headed by minister Roshan Baig and  MLA J R Lobo and  had recently met union minister of state for civil aviation G M Siddeshwar and impressed him the need to resume flight service.

 J R Lobo informed public that indications from the civil aviation ministry are that Mangalore-Kuwait flight would re-start flights from October 2014.

To start with the flight will be thrice a week.  The flight routing may be Mangalore-Bahrain-Kuwait.

The official announcement can be expected soon.

The Mangalore-Kuwait direct flight was discontinued in  February 2014. There have been regular demands from all concerned for re-establishing this route to serve regular passengers between Kuwait and Mangalore which had a good useage.
