Mangaluru Sep 17, 2016 : Mangalore City Corporation has yet again raided several shops at Central market and GHS Road which did not have valid trade licences, today September 17, Saturday.
The raid was conducted under the initiative of Health, Education and Social Justice Standing Committee Chairperson Kavitha Sanil.
Even shops which possessed plastic bags as against rules were raided.
Previously Kavitha Sanil had warned stringent action against the shops which did not renew trade licence.
Two complexes were raided and notices have been issued to 74 shops regarding trade licence.

She had raided that Malls recently but no shops were seen seized or locked? Street vendors in some places at Bejai were carried away by MCC. But in some places we can still see vendor going on with business. | |

The plastic bags are not yet banned hundred percent . Only in Malls they do not use bags but they charge for the cover if we want . That too not in all shops | |
