Mangaluru, April 07, 2020: It has been gathered that six districts in the state including Dakshina Kannada have been identified as Red Zone districts where the lockdown may continue even after April 14 when the 21 day lockdown announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi ends. The measure is likely to be taken in the wake of increasing Coronavirus cases in some parts of the state.
Apart from Dakshina Kannada, some places in Bengaluru, Nanjangud, Mysuru, Gowribidanur and Bidar may remain in lockdown.
