Kundapur, Jan 17, 2019 : A woman who was a pillion rider in a scooter was crushed to death by a goods laden truck at Margolli near Basrur on January 17, Thursday.

The deceased is identified as Maimoona(55) wife of Haji Saheb.

It is learnt that Haji Saheb along with Maimoona were on their way back home after offering prayers at mosque. A speeding goods laden truck knocked down their scooter from behind, Maimoona came under the rear wheel of truck, whereas Haji Saheb escaped with minor injuries.

Kundapur police have registered the case.
