Kundapur : Student assaulted by collegemate

Kundapur, Oct 4, 2016 : In an incident reported from Bhandarkar’s College in Kundapur on October 3, Monday, a student was assaulted by his collegemate over the issue of talking to a female student of the same institution.

The injured student has been identified as Akhif who is pursing his first year BCA. According to Akhif he was assaulted by one Shashikanth after he spoke to a girl student who asked him how he fared in the exam.

Akhif alleges that Shashikanth also used abusive words against a lady lecturer of the college.

The incident has been strongly condemned by the Campus Front of India which has also sought stern action against the guilty.
