Kundapur : Road mishaps near Byndoor claim lives of 2 bike riders

Kundapur, Nov 21, 2015 : Two separate accidents reported from Byndoor and Nakatte in Kundapur have claimed two lives on November 21, Saturday.

In the first case, Gopal Poojary (40), a resident of Navunda died on the spot when a container lorry rammed against his motorbike near the new bus stand in the town. He was a hotel worker and had been to Navunda to visit his wife’s house. He was returning to Navunda after some work when tragedy struck.

In another accident involving a two-wheeler and a tipper on the NH at Nakatte, a person named Janardhan Acharya (45), a teacher at Maikala school has lost his life. The mishap took place when he was returning after participating in a function at a school in Byndoor.

Traffic on the NH was disrupted for some time due to the accidents. The police later took measures to restore normalcy in traffic.
