Kundapur: Man dies after accidental fall into lake at Belal

Kundapur, Mar 23, 2017 : In a tragic incident man who had gone to water the palntation dies after he accidentally falls into a lake. The incident took place on March 22, Wednesday in the evening at Belal in Kundapur.

The deceased is identiifed as Sachin Shetty (23), son of Shekar Shetty , Resident of Belal. Schin was employed in Forest department .

Family sources said that Sachin had been to water the plantations at around 7pm in the evening. As he did not return back home , they grew suspicious and went in saerch of him. But there was no response , later found his footwear lying on the shore of the lake . It is suspected that Sachin might have accidentally fallen into the lake drowned .

Case has been registered in Kollur police station. Investigations are in progress.

Some incidents are so unpredictable that they put the whole family in Trauma .It is the negligence eon the part of the family which led to such incidents .

Why wasn’t the lake fenced , with was intention was it left open . This incident will always remind the mistake .
