Kundapur : Man arrested for pro-Pakistan slogans

Kundapur, March 02, 2020:  Kundapur Police have arrested one person on the charges of shouting Pakistan Zindabad slogans in front of the Mini Vidhana Saudha in the town on March 2, Monday. The video in this regard has gone viral.

The arrested person is Raghavendra Ganiga (43), a resident of Kodi in Kundapur.  Police said the accused was mentally ill and was under treatment. It has also been gathered that Raghavendra who  was working as a teacher around eight years ago had later lost his job due to mental illness.

It is said he had come to a hospital along with his mother when he managed to escape and raised pro-Pak slogans. The video shows Raghavendra shouting pro-Pak slogans even while he was being  taken away by the police.
