Kundapur : Gambling dens raided, lakhs of rupees seized

Kundapur, March 03, 2020: The Kundapur police who have raided several gambling dens operating across the taluk illegally on March 2, Monday, have made several arrests and seized several lakhs of rupees.

The raids were conducted on the Unity Recreation Association Club at Kageri in Koteshwar wherein several were arrested and a cash of Rs 13,040 seized.

In another raid on a club located at a building at Goliangady too many were arrested and a cash of Rs 1,03,205, 12 cell phones, three motorbikes and two cars were seized.

Police also raided Shantha Recreation Club at Dottinaberu in Siddapur village and MG Recreation Club at Sauparnika Complex, Yedtare village and seized a cash of Rs 6,745 and Rs 26,500 respectively. Mobile phones and vehicles belonging to the accused have also been seized.
