Kundapur, Nov 19, 2019: Kundapur Police have arrested a 33 year old man on the charges of raping a minor girl studying in tenth standard.  

ashok poojary1...The accused identified as Ashok Poojary (33) has been produced before the court. Ashok was already a married man with two children. However, he had reportedly deserted his wife and was residing with another woman at an apartment at Brahmavar.

 As per the complaint lodged by the victim, the accused lured her on Sunday and took her in his car to a house at Moodadu around two kms from Sastan and had raped her. It is being said that there were two others along with the accused.

The rape accused was a man of criminal background who is already facing several other cases including  wood smuggling cases.
