Kundapur, March 24, 2016 : Two Nepali youth who worked in a restaurant at Trasi were thrashed by the public before handing them over the police for creating a scene right on the middle of the road in an inebriated state near the Shastri Circle on March 23, Wednesday.
The two namely Deepak and his cousin Roy were detained by the police and subseqently released. It is said both of them were heavy drinkers and had even assaulted the restaurant owner who had dismissed them from their jobs after paying them their dues.
It is learnt, as always, with money in hand they had entered a bar, had their full and then began hitting each other in judo style right on the road. Efforts made by locals to intervne failed and the duo attacked some locals too. Finally the two were caught and thrashed by locals.
It is said the police who rushed to the spot and detained the two had to pour much water on them so t hat th ey could regain their senses. They were taken to the local Government Hospital for a medical examination and were released after some time.

The public treatment has to be given to such people as they will have some fear before misbehaving in future. What happens to them once arrested is not known. Great job |
