Kundapur: Covid-19 claims life of 54 year old man from Maravanthe

Udupi, July 16, 2020: Covid-19 has claimed another life in Udupi district with a 54 year old man from Maravanthe succumbing to the infection. With this the total number of people who lost their lives to Covid-19 in Udupi district has increased to seven.
The man from Maravanthe who was suffering from Asthama was admitted to a private hospital in Kundapur on Wednesday. However, he breathed his last enroute while being shifted to Manipal Hospital. Later a swab test was done and the result has revealed he was Covid-19 positive.
The lat rites of the man were performed at Kundapur as per Covid protocol.
