Kundapur : Byndoor grief stricken over death of 2 children in suspected family suicide pact

Kundapur, Oct 18,2016 : The death  of a  brother and sister, both teenagers in a suspected suicide pact of their family  has left Byndoor in total grief.

The suspicion is that  Shankernarayana, the  father of the children namely Ashwin Kumar (15) and Aishwarya Lakshmi (13) had poisoned them and his wife, before consuming poison. Though the children died for no fault of theirs, the parents are recovering.

It  is said that the head of the family Shankernarayana who works as a cook, had an extra-marital affair with a  young girl and was living with her since some time. However, when the young woman ditched Shankernarayana to marry another woman, he had returned back to his house to stay with his wife and two children. It is learnt his wife sold milk to eke out a living.

It is said that Shankernarayana has left behind a 16 page death note and another copy of it elsewhere and had even mentioned the name of his lover in it. He has also stated that   he was depressed and that his extra-marital affair was the reason for his suicide attempt.
