Kudla enthusiasts to spice up France Kite Festivities

Mangaluru, July 4, 2016: Reports indicate that at least 2 Mangalurean artists, Dinesh Holla and Sathish Rao are all set to display live line artwork about the tribes of India on a 36-metre canvas for over nine days at the International Dieppe Kite Festival 2016, in France in September 2016. They will also present a line art exhibition and kite making workshop.


 Kite Festivities


The festival will be held on the lawns of Dieppe Beach from September 10-18. The theme is: ‘Les Arts Premiers’ - aboriginal, indigenous, native, traditional and folk arts.  Listed among 300 of the biggest world events in all categories taken together, this innovative festival will see the participation of about 40 countries.

Artist Dinesh Holla has also designed the poster (which was selected by the organizers) for the festival, this year.  The festival is held once in two years.
