Khader unhappy over district administration’s way of handling Covid-19 pandemic

Mangaluru, May 16, 2020:   MLA and former minister U T Khader has said that the Health Department should investigate  the causes that led to the death of five Covid-19 patients in the district.

Speaking to reporters here on May 16, Saturday,  Khader urged the District Administration to  take the issue of five Covid-19 related deaths in the district  seriously.  He was also critical of the way the administration was handling the Covid-19 pandemic in the district and questioned whether the lives of people had no value.

He also expressed his resentment over the state government and said the government has not announced any new schemes. On the Union Government’s Rs 20 lakh crore package, Khader said while the government has increased loans to be given to farmers, it has not waived interest.
