Mangalore, Aug 08, 2014: State Health and family Welfare Minister UT Khader inspected the newly constructed mortuary and the newly laid Sewage Treatment Plant at the Government Wenlock during a visit to the Hospital on August 8, Friday.
Speaking to the media later, the minister said the new mortuary has better facilities including seating arrangements, lighting and drinking water facilities.
The Minister further informed that the government has sanctioned 150 more 108 Arogya Kavacha ambulances to the state.
Referring to the Ebola virus, the minister said steps have been taken to screen passengers in Mangalore and Bangalore airports from August 9.
The Minister further said all out efforts would be made to provide better facilities at Wenlock Hospital to make it a model hospital.
