Mangaluru, April 09, 2020:   Deputy Commissioner Sindhu B Rupesh, in a revised order issued on Wednesday evening has said that patients from Kerala who need  emergency treatment must avail treatment only at the Justice KS Hegde Charitable Hospital  at Derlakatte. The order comes after the border with Kerala was opened at Talapady. The administration has made it clear that only patients who require emergency treatment will be allowed.

Here is worth mentioning that the district administration’s earlier decision to close borders with Kerala had invited sharp reaction from Kerala which had knocked at the doors of the Centre as well as the Supreme Court.  Meanwhile, following the SC  directive,  the Talapady border was opened with certain  pre-conditions.
