Kemar seer gives clarion call to Dakshina Kannadigas to unite against Yettinahole Project

Mangaluru, March 17, 2016 : The people of the district  should unite and stop the  implementation of the Yettinahole Project with utmost dedication and commitment, said  Sri Esha Vittaldasa  Swamiji of Kemar Sandeepani Sadhanashrama.

 

 

He was addressing the protestors  who are participating in a day long hunger strike against the Yettinahole Project  organised by the Netravathi Rakshana Samyukta Samithi near the DC office on March 17, Thursday.

 "It has been a long fight for the people of the district against some mega projects like MRPL and SEZ in the past. If the land of the  people were grabbed in the past, now attempts are being made to grab our water," he alleged.

There are even plans to stage protest in front of Vidhana Saudha if government fails to relent , he said.

Parish Priest of Rosario Church Fr J B Crasta,former deputy mayor Purushottham Chitrapur, social activist M G Hegde and others spoke on the occasion.

Rahim Uchil, Dinaker Shetty, Ramachandra Baikampady and many others participated in the protest.
