Kaup, Mar 15, 2024: A fisherman fell into the sea while fishing and died near Polipu in Sallaragoli village on the night of March 13.

The deceased has been identified as Udyavara Pitrodia Ramaju (54). It is said that he had gone fishing in a boat with other fishermen in the afternoon and while pulling up the fish net, Ramaju fell from the boat along with the net. It is known that he fell unconscious and died on the way to Manipal Hospital.

A case has been registered in Kapu police station in this regard.
