Katipalla resident arrested for stoning hotel

Mangaluru, Sep 12, 2018: Police have arrested a Katipalla resident named Amar Soans (28) in connection with the incident of stoning a hotel at Shivabagh area during Monday’s Bharat Bundh against fuel price hike.
Another person wanted in the case is said to be a Congress worker and police are on the lookout for him.
On Monday two persons who arrived at the hotel had begun pelting stones resulting in injuries to a hotel worker Jayanth Kamath.
A complaint was filed in this regard at the Kadri Police Station.
