Kasargod, July 20, 2016: The driver and cleaner of a gas tanker sustained minor injuries after the vehicle fell into a deep gorge near Kumble Shiriya on NH 16 on July 19, Tuesday.
The mishap occurred after the driver of the LPG tanker which was on way to Kochi from Mangaluru lost control over his vehicle while trying to overtake another vehicle. The mishap affected traffic on the Mangaluru-Kasargod stretch for some time. Cops who rushed to the spot diverted many vehicles on the Bandyodu-Permude-Seetangoli and Kumble route.
