Kasargod : Car crashes against tree killing elderly man, another critical

Kasargod, Nov 28, 2015 : An elderly man lost his life while his younger brother sustained  critical  injuries when the car in which they were travelling  rammed against a roadside tree at Mavungal on November 26, Thursday.

It has been gathered that the driver of the car veered the vehicle to the extreme end of the road in a bid to  avoid hitting a pedestrian and in turn crashed against the tree.

The deceased is Isaac John (72). His brother John Mathew (64) who has sustained serious injuries has been hospitalised.

The two who hailed from Kottayam but resided in Kadaba were returning  to Kadaba after participating in the last rites of a relative.

The car driver Harris however had a miraculous escape.

A case has been registered by Bekal police.

The driver in the anxiety to save the pedestrians but the impact was on the companions travelling in the car. So many accidents occur but the main reason is reckless and rash diving
