Kasargod : 2 critically injured as reversing truck falls on car at Badiadka

Kasaragod, Oct 2,2017 : A father and a son who were travelling in a car sustained serious injuries when a truck which was taking a reverse all of a sudden fell over the car at Kolari in Mavinakatte near Badiadka on October 2, Monday.
The injured persons are Mohammad Kunhi Haji (72) and his son Muneer (32). They hail from Badiadka and have been rushed to the hospital.
The truck carrying borewell drilling machinery had reached Mavinakatte in the morning. As the driver was taking a reverse on the narrow road, the car which was behind had halted. However suddenly the vehicle went out of control of the driver and fell over the car.
As the occupants were trapped inside, the fire brigade personnel summoned a crane to assist in the relief operations so that the two injured persons could be pulled out of the car.
