Kasargod : 1 killed, 4 injured in KSRTC bus- Omni collision

Kasargod, May 18, 2016 : A head-on collision between a KSRTC bus and a Maruti Omni near Manjeshwar Hosangady on May 17, Tuesday evening has claimed the life of one person while four others sustained serious injuries.
The deceased has been identified as Abdul Azeez (55) from Uppala. He was driving the Maruti Omni involved in the mishap. The injured have been hospitalised in Mangaluru.
The bus was heading towards Mangaluru from Kasargod while the van was proceeding towards Uppala from Talapady. Local residents had a tough time in pulling out the injured from the mangled Omni.
Manjeshwar Police have registered a case.
