Mangaluru, Jan 11 2018: “Karnataka Bank Founders’ Day celebration is scheduled to be held on Sunday, 18th February 2018 at the Auditorium of the Head Office of the Bank, Mangaluru.

Shri ‘Sadhguru’ Founder, Isha Foundation, Coimbatore, who is also a Padma Vibhushan awardee, has consented to deliver the Founders’ Day Lecture. The programme will be followed by Carnatic Classical Vocal Musical Concert by Vidushi Smt. Ranjani & Vidushi Smt. Gayatri, accompanied by Vidwan Shri Mysore H. N. Bhaskar on the Violin, Vidwan Shri Delhi Sairam on the Mridangam and Vidwan Shri G. Chandrasekara Sharma on the Ghatam. The programme will be presided by Shri P Jayarama Bhat, Chairman, of the Bank. Further, to commemorate the Founders’ Day, Bank has planned some major CSR initiatives to reach out to the lives of less privileged sections of the society and have a positive impact on social welfare”, said  Shri Mahabaleshwara M S, Managing Director & CEO, of the Bank.

Founded on 18th February 1924, Karnataka Bank, after completing its 94 years of purposeful banking and service to the nation, is now stepping into its 95th year and is emerging as preferred Bank of millions of customers, with its presence in 22 states and 2 union territories, with 781 branches and 1382 ATMs across India and Bank has also recently crossed ` 1 lakh crore business milestone.
