Mangaluru, Aug 17,2017: Mangaluru based private sector bank - Karnataka Bank on Wednesday made its social media presence by opening its official pages in leading social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube.

Mahabaleshwara M S, managing director and CEO of the bank unveiled official social handles at a function held at the bank’s head office here. The official social handle of the bank is @karnatakabank on Twitter and Facebook.


Social media networks change the way we interact with each other. Gen Y people are well connected on social media network and they tend to communicate anything on social media be it positive or negative, Mahabaleshwara said adding to leverage benefits of social media and in pursuit of engaging customers and well-wishers on activities in the Bank and its products and services, Bank has ventured into this trending communication channel, he said.


Customers can connect to with the bank instantly through social media, the bank chief said, while urging all customers to get connected with Bank through the official page/ handle in social media for updates and innovations of the Bank.
